Still delicious after all these years! The pasta alla buttera is amazing. Love the carpaccio, and ask for the panna cotta with the balsamic glaze – you’ll be surprised how well it blends together!

As a resident of Athens for 58 years, tried La Dolce for 1st time on 4/18/14. It was great! The Pork Loin may be the Best! Highly Recommend!

This is our go to place downtown for quiet dinner out for two or when we have guests from out of town. Atmosphere and service are exceptional and the food is phenomenal. You won’t regret visiting them.

We did not realize it’s best to have a reservation on a weekend night in Athens for dinner. Two other restaurants down the block treated us poorly because we had no reservations. We wandered into La Dolce Vita expecting the same treatment, but upon asking if it mattered that we didn’t have reservations, even with a packed house, the host kindly replied, “oh no, give us a moment and we’ll get you a table”. That set a high expectation, which they met. Great server, great wine, and delicious food.

We originally set out to eat at a neighboring restaurant, but got stuck on a wait list and skipped. Aggravated, we set out to find somewhere new. Ended up walking in La Dolce Vita and what a great surprise! Up the staircase from the sidewalk is a quaint, cozy place that seats about 60 people total. Although we didnt have a reservation, they were happy to seat us within minutes. The service was excellent and the food was superb. I had the asparagus tortellini with scallops and it was great! Definitely recommend!
