Local owners and family run. The menu is mainly BBQ but the brunch is wonderful too. The homemade BBQ sauce is to die for!!! Love the selection of homemade desserts. Since everything is made from scratch don’t come in a hurry.

Deliciousness!! We will be back … My mouth is watering for the smoked bacon jalapeños. Brought back a sandwich so my husband can see what real good brisket actually taste like!

We will definitely be back. Very friendly from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out. My husband and my boys had the brisket and barbeque chicken combo with hand cut fries, spicy collard greens, homemade chips, and corn muffin. I had the veggie plate with black eyed peas, spicy collards, and fries as well. Everything was delicious. The waitress brought us a sampling of each of their barbeque sauces, and each one was awesome. We can’t wait to visit again!

Looking for great homemade food that is fresh and awesome then you need to try Katie Lou’s café. The BBQ sandwiches are awesome as well as the owner and his staff. Very friendly. I recommend this place for sure.

We went on a walking dead tour and needed a place for lunch. Well most things in this small town are closed on Sundays so we had little choice. Glad for that! The food was excellent! I had the brisket philly and it was amazing. My wife had the BBQ sandwich and she loved it. I was impressed with the service too and it was packed. Excellent choice for a small town with not many options.
