Kadan Homecare was founded more than 30 years ago by Linda Kadan. Today, she and her team remain committed to her original mission—providing professional care in a safe and nurturing environment and a rich and meaningful life for seniors and other individuals who require assistance.

As CEO of Kadan Homecare, Linda Kadan’s official role is to develop and implement Kadan’s overall operating strategy and to manage the provider’s overall operations and resources. Unofficially, Kadan considers it her job and her life’s work to help as many seniors as possible live with dignity and independence while giving their families complete peace of mind.

According to Kadan, the highlights of her 25+ year career in the industry have been “successfully doing something I truly love for so many years and meeting so many wonderful clients and caregivers.” When Kadan graduated from Indiana University with a Master of Economics degree, she might not have imagined ending up as the CEO of a leading homecare provider. However, it’s obvious she has found her calling.

Kadan is a member of the National Private Duty Association, the nation’s first association for providers of private duty home care. The NPDA is the recognized resource for information and definition of private duty home care practice. It leads the industry that care for people at home through education and advocacy. The Kadan team has over 75 years of combined experience in homecare, nursing, and social services.

Kadan Homecare ensures that you and your loved ones are in safe, caring and capable hands. As a state-licensed homecare provider, we carefully screen all potential employees. The individuals who meet our rigorous requirements are experienced, bonded, insured and fully covered by workers compensation. Furthermore, all of our caregivers are Kadan Homecare employees, not independent contractors.

Our clients find comfort in knowing their family member will be cared for by a trusted, fully vetted employee who is trained and supervised by a professional staff. Over the past 30 years, Kadan Homecare has become a preferred provider of in-home personal care, companion and nursing services. Because every client is unique and special, our programs accommodate a wide range of individual needs and lifestyles. We offer live-in and live-out, short- or long-term services. We can also build a program around a particular situation, for example, providing personal care or companionship services only on days when a family member won’t be home.

I used the service for a temporary need for my father in law during a transition to in-patient hospice care. It was an extremely difficult time for our whole family and they really made the transition smooth. The office staff was amazing and the girls they sent out to help us were knowledgeable, prompt and very understanding to our situation. I would recommend them to anyone. They even sent us a card when he passed away. The personal touch is what sometimes matters the most and Kadan home care has it.

The Kadan employees have all been extremely personal and professional. Each of them has been concerned not only with my mother-in-law but also with our family. It has been a great partnership. The caregivers have excellent resources available to them from the main office. The main office has always encouraged feedback from and always made resources available to us. Service and communication have been excellent. I am extremely pleased that after interviewing four different home health care agencies we decided to use Kadan.

I cannot think of any other agency who has been in business longer in the Metro Area. The ladies are wonderful and with plenty experience. If you read that review from Kimberly Kaminsky and too are looking for a housekeeper and a cook, then look somewhere else these caregivers are not housekeepers, landscapers, cooks, drivers, and/or personal slaves. This are charismatic people who only want your well-being and work hard and more importantly they care sometimes more than your own family. I highly recommend them.

I highly recommend Kadan for anyone looking for care for a loved one. They are professional and it shows that they have been in this business a very long time. The caregivers are hand picked based on information that the family provides to the case managers. I can say in the past year my mother’s quality of life has improved so much she may outlive me ! Our very dedicated case manager responds to email, calls and texts within minutes and is always willing to help us find other resources for things that may benefit our mother. My only regret about Kadan is not calling them sooner.
