This review is for aftercare of patients. My son received treatment here and surgery at Jack Hughston Hospital. I have received several bills that claim I owe money but have been PAID IN FULL by my insurance with verification. Each time there is a balance, I call my insurance who states there should not be a balance as the bill was paid and full and then the billing department basically says “ohh we made a mistake.” That’s unacceptable! What if I blindly pay the bill? How many people are being cheated out of their money because of the billing department’s incompetence?? I am now on the third bill of this incompetence $766.85 dollars out of my pocket has I not called the insurance to verify. Get it together!

Has spine surgery there last week. It will be my preferred hospital from now. Staff was very nice, nurses were kind and helpful. The only downside is the food sucks.

Was coming up here for a cough that would not go away, feeling like I had the flu. The doctor just smiled at me like I was stupid and said it’s because of my athesma and was being rude to me the whole time I’ve had athesma my whole life and it didn’t feel like this

I have had surgery 2 times in this hospital and from the first person i saw until the last person putting me in my car i had excellent treatment and patient service–i highly recommend this hospital it’s doctor’s and it’s staff!!

During my recovery from L4/L5 Spinal Fusion, the entire staff was very professional and caring. The nursing staff attended to my every need. PT/OT provided the motivation to return back to normal ADL’S without over extending my physical abilities. From my admission to discharge, everyone I came in contact with treated me as if I was their only patient. I can’t thank them enough!

My husband and I have always been treated with respect at Jack Hughston Memorial Hospital. With any medical emergency or health concern, I would rather go to this hospital before St. Francis everytime.

It was last year when I was ill from having severe gastroparesis. I had been vomiting for3 days and I was weak I just knew I would be waiting forever. But to my surprise and satisfaction I was taken on back and every medical measure was given to me. The doctor even told my husband to go get some rest because I would be there a few hours to get the treatment for having a low potassium levels. When I was discharged I felt better and my family was very happy with our experience.
