I’m a Herzing Atlanta Alum/Navy veteran with a degree in Business Management and I love my school. If you want a friendly small school environment with a more hands-on experience with your professors, this school is your best option. All programs are taught by people in the respective fields of study and often offer many networking opportunities. Strongly recommend for international students and military veterans (scholarships, cheaper tuition/fees, GI Bill friendly, etc.)

It’s kind of silly to presume that you can teach paralegal and pre-law studies in just 4 years. There simply isn’t enough material and the course material becomes redundant after a while. The teachers all have other full time jobs in their fields, so it’s easy to get advice and real-world help from the teachers. I completed the Paralegal program and then later the Pre-Law program. The schedule worked out great with my work. I could take morning classes and work second shift or work first shift and take evening classes. The curriculum was very writing intensive. I had to write so many memoranda and briefs. The mathematic curriculum was pretty challenging, but a lot of the course work is shared online through other schools, so it’s not too hard to find what you’re looking for. Quizlet was helpful a few times. Not everyone will be happy with their teachers or their education, but I can honestly say that my degree has served me well in my career. I work for one of the largest global law firms. Upon entering my first law firm job I received a $4,000 increase in salary (1 year of experience). Upon entering my second law firm job (3 years, so far) I have received a $15,000 increase in salary, to date. I still keep in contact with a handful of my law classmates and we occasionally go to lunch or out for drinks. Two or three of them have jobs in Midtown law firms and one is preparing to enter John Marshall Law School in the Fall. Both the Paralegal and Pre-Law programs are certified by the American Bar Association. Recommend (but only if you’re willing to put in the work and be professional).

As a stay at home mom my entire life, I knew that I needed to choose a school that would work around my busy schedule. Little did I know how busy my life would become after I enrolled in online classes. 2 weeks after enrollment, I found the 1st of many non-cancerous lumps in my breast. I underwent major surgery and lost a beloved Aunt all within that 1st semester. Not just the staff, but all of my Professors were so understanding and helped me get through every class. Fast forward to my last semester and our adult daughter was diagnosed with Leukemia, my grandfather passed away, my uncle had triple bypass surgery, and my nephew was diagnosed with kidney failure at the age of 13. Once again my professors were understanding and there for me when I needed them to be. I graduated with a GPA of 3.8 and I attribute that to the dedicated instructors that never even once met me in person. Alongside my wonderful supportive family, I did not know there could be such a wonderful community like Herzing. Thank you for everything!

I graduated in 2017 from the ADN program, after finishing school and unsuccessfully not passing my nursing boards at the first time, I was really upset and mad at my self after 6 months of trying to study on my own and get the courage to take them again. I received an email from the President of the University Madison Campus asking if I was interested in getting help on preparing for my boards which that was amazing. I had never heard of any other school that would do that for any student. I received help from various instructors Professor Ruiz, Professor Lange, Dr Lyles, and they even connected me with a wonderful life coach Deb. Every one of them gave me the courage and the strength to believe in myself and face the biggest exam and be successful. After working with Herzing for a year and making sure I achieved the green light, I was successful this time and PASSED my boards! Everything was because Herzing never gave up on me and they never let me give up on myself. Thank you Jo K RN
