Best Chinese food in Athens. The Chicken Lo Mein is awesome, its only 9 dollars, and it can actually feed 4 people. The egg rolls are great too! Bonus: they deliver to campus

One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Athens! Their beef lo mein (with tax) is $10 and can feed me for at least 3 meals (and I love lo mein). Their service is impeccable and they’re always friendly and accommodating. While the restaurant’s view from the street may leave much room for improvement, do not let that fool you! I drive 25 minutes from my apartment on the other side of Athens just to come get this food, and as a (generally) lazy college student, I think that says a lot about the quality of this establishment and their food.

I love Chinese food, and have ate at just about every Chinese joint in Athens and surrounding cities. Golden Sun is definitely my go to place to cure my Chinese fix. Whether I eat there or have it delivered the quality is outstanding. The quantity is enough for two meals. The price is great. The restaurant is always clean. What else can you ask for out of a restaurant?. Golden Sun please keep up the good work.

I’m giving them five stars for the two things on the menu that I get every time, the fried dumplings and the Lo mein. They make the dumplings in house and although they are not light in any way, the sauce that accompanies them makes my mouth water. The Lo mein portion size could feed a family of four and I always ask for extra dumpling sauce to pour over it!

Best Chinese (style) food in Athens. Values are great, when looking at the menu keep in mind that everything is basically two servings. Food is highly seasoned. Taste wise, it’s the best. They offer Americanized favorites but I’ve seen more traditional fare on their menu. Dine in is high quality, so is take-out.
