Ive been going here since the 1980s. Consistently good and generous portions. I go for both a quick lunch special and special family events like both my college and high school graduation and christmas dinner.

One of the best sit down Chinese restaurants that I have been to in a long time. Last great one I had was when I used to live on the West Coast. I had the roast duck, steamed dumplings, and wonton soup. On house hot tea is great too. You will not be disappointed if you come here! It has been a long time since I had a good Chinese roast duck.

My top favorite for Chinese food, this restaurant has been a go to for my family for over 30 years! They are consistent, reasonably priced, and fast! Always top notch service. I especially love their sesame chicken, golden Buddha chicken, chicken lo mein, eggplant with chicken, and garlic green beans. But truly, you can’t go wrong here, it’s all delicious. As an added bonus, they bring hot tea automatically which is always perfect.

Are you Korean?! Have you lived in Atlanta for more than a few years?! Do you have Korean friends?! Then you don’t need me to tell you how baller this place is. Old school Chinese Korean fusion. Black bean noodle, empress chicken (HOT DANG!), sweet and sour pork, mapo tofu, candied sweet potatoes. Legit, legit, legit. Now you know what to order (and will have leftovers for at least two meals) so grab a friend or two or three and go to Golden Buddha. You’re welcome.

Best Empress Chicken in Atlanta. I love all types of fried chicken but this is a special kind of fried chicken that you can only get at a Chinese Korean restaurant like Golden Buddha. Some other great dishes you can only get here inside the perimeter are tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork) and jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles). Now if you’re looking for the generic American Chinese foods, they offer some of that too. But you’re really not getting the best they offer if you’re not ordering off the Chinese Korean menu.

Best Chinese restaurant in Atlanta hands down. Eating at this restaurant for 20 years plus never been disappointed but I’ve only ordered off the Korean menu. Order some empress chicken with bones and have your life changed with the flavors and texture of this delicious dish. I am tearing up a little thinking about this dish right now. Go here and all will be right in your world!

One of my favorite Chinese places…highly recommended if you want large portions of good Chinese food at a reasonable price (you will have lots of leftovers to take home if you get the “dinner for…” meals) . Been going here since I was little and my mom even before that. Love their Empress chicken, sizzling rice soup, eggrolls, Princess shrimp, mongolian beef, shrimp with vegetables, and lo mein. Always like trying new dishes here as well as my favorites.

Amazing food, friendly patient staff. The hot tea that comes free is a great oolong. Had the Ginger Beef, Fried wontons, and Lemon chicken. Family style large orders, rice comes separate from the entree. Not super pricey, especially for the amount of food you get. Will definitely be going as often as possible.

I found a new favorite comfort food item: black bean sauce noodles with ground pork and seafood! Can’t believe I’ve been driving past this restaurant for so many years and thinking it’s just another generic/American Chinese place. Don’t judge a restaurant by its name! :) So glad I finally checked out the menu and dined in! This is a very good restaurant, and the food and service are exceptional. Happy to have this right in Decatur where I can get a few authentic dishes without having to drive to Doraville/Chamblee.
