Thrilled with our backyard transformation done by Gibbs. Gibbs turned a sloping yard into a beautiful two-tiered paver patio that maximizes the utility of the space. The landscape design exceeded our expectations and the execution was professional, thoughtful, and flexible. The design did not just stop at the patio (which was the initial ask), but included additional aspects such as critical underground drainage from gutter downspouts, a slate chip area under the adjacent deck that has been a great functional and aesthetically pleasing element, and an impressive fieldstone stepper path leading down the side of the house to the patio. The project also included adding a significant number of new plantings, both in built-in beds on the patio and around the property generally. Gibbs was also able to recommend other service providers for irrigation and tree removal. Over time we have also had Gibbs help with other smaller design and installation projects on the property. Overall, I would highly recommend Gibbs for a top-notch product and experience!

We have been Gibbs customers for over 10 years, and recently purchased a new house which needed updated landscaping. Given our many happy years with their weekly maintenance service (their team does a great job), we of course chose Gibbs to do the work. They assigned an exceptional landscape architect (Nathan Kloos) to update the property, which included building columns for a new fence along with a new patio and outdoor fireplace. We approved the landscape plans and they we able to start quickly. The work was completed promptly with no drama. We could not be more pleased with the results. We have received numerous compliments and inquiries as to who did the work; we happily recommend Gibbs.

The landscape designer at Gibbs was always responsive, and the team of workers was professional. They transformed our backyard from a mud pit to a beautiful area with synthetic turf and different trees and flowering bushes. They accommodated several changes and additions in the middle of the project. They even finished a couple days ahead of schedule.

We used Gibbs and Greg Whitfield for a backyard update in November. This is our second time using them and they are outstanding! Greg’s design addressed all of our needs (stone steps/paths, screening, drainage, etc.) and was beautiful! The crew was great – courteous, cleaned up each day, and extremely knowledgeable. The project was completed on time and on budget and we couldn’t be happier with Greg and Gibb’s work!
