I love this place !!! First time was fabulous , second time was even better ! The host remembered us and the oysters are yummy! Cheddar biscuits are to die for! Thumbs up if I lived closer I’d be there all the time.

George’s terrific selection of low country seafood, chicken and steaks are second only to the service and friendliness of the staff. Personal favorites include the mussels, fried shrimp and steak with blue cheese. Their staff makes you feel welcome from the minute you walk in without being overbearing. The bar has everything needed to satisfy the your beverage choice, and bartenders do an excellent job of mixing cocktails to perfection.

There is not a better place to eat in Athens, Georgia. Reggie provides such a wonderful, elegant and tasty menu & it is our favorite place to eat. Vic’s surprise birthday was there for 40 friends & it was superb!

Recently went to George’s for the first time. Loved it! We had the $7 Tuesday oyster special, and then I had the shrimp tortellini. It was delicious. Service was great. I definitely recommend!!
