Foundations for the Future started in 2004 as an interest based, naturally accredited, child care and learning center for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Our progressive teaching style of all ages means we have low ratios; focused integrated STEM subject matter; brain-based learning and child initiated project work. Our child day care curriculum balances care and nurturing with engaging activities built around your child’s interest. As they progress into the upper school, the elementary school interest based curriculum adds balance of technology, movement, creativity and focused topic times to meet academic goals through in-depth projects and hands on exploration.

There are various interesting areas throughout the campus, such as full kitchen in each
building; one of which is used for student cooking lessons. There is a natural exploration, nature area with a climbing tree house for a bird’s eye viewpoint, and an indoor gym outfitted with an in-ground trampoline, foam pit, rock wall and multi-sport court used during classes and after class for extracurricular activities. There are also libraries in each building allowing for students to choose!
We believe it’s never too early to begin the learning process, thus we begin with infants & continue to middle school, providing a solid foundation for learning for the rest of your children’s lives.

We LOVE Foundations! We had this school highly recommended by several friends, and are thrilled with how great our experience has been. The staff is always loving toward our children. They also incorporate Spanish, gym time, music and movement and other experiences that are hugely beneficial for children. I wish all schools were like this one.
Low student/teacher ratios, instruction and group projects based on abilities and interests, no kids forced to sit in desks, lined up in rows, being lectured to. Instead, they sit comfortably on the floor in a circle and discuss the material and learn experientially, integrating it into other subject matter.. The classes have multi-age groups, which allows for better learning and socialization. The young ones learn how to act from the older ones and the older ones take responsibility for being role models for the younger ones. They all learn to interact well and appreciate the other age groups. The best thing of all is the incredible gym with the rock climbing wall, the trampolines and the big pit of foam blocks with the rope swinging into it. These kids start off the day with physical activity to get out their restlessness, which is not only fun for them, but helps them to sit and focus in class. This is especially helpful if your child is very energetic and not so calm and focused. They teach the kids how to think not just remember by rote. These children are so happy and so smart because things are set up to encourage that. The icing on the cake is that the price is much more affordable than most other private schools. I am so thankful I found this place for my children. They love it there! Thank you Foundations for your revolutionary vision and for your loving creation

Supportive to new moms
Foundations is the only place I would send my daughter! As a first time mom, I had so many worries but the staff and administration at FFTF has worked with me through all of my “moments” with understanding and support. My daughter has yet to have a day where she displayed any anxiety about my leaving. There are days she pushes out of my arms reaching for her teachers or just to get down and play. Another HUGE benefit of Foundations and the most important one to me is they are a breastfeeding friendly school. I have been able to breastfeed my daughter at lunch and before I take her home for the day. They have comfortable areas where we can enjoy being together for a feeding. I have never felt uncomfortable or anything but support from the staff about breastfeeding. Foundations also provides wonderful services to document everything! They send daily Discovery Reports with pictures of what they are doing in class. Now that my daughter is getting older, it is amazing to be able to look through my email and see her first days. I also registered for a Scrapbook service they provide, where I receive a scrapbook page each month including photographs from a professional photographer. Being a working mom, Foundations has saved me by taking so many pictures of my daughter and sharing them with me! Thanks to these services no moment is going to be missed!

Foundations is family
We have been part of the Foundations Family for 4 years and can not say enough good things. Our daughter went from the time she was 2- preK and is now excelling in kindergarten. My little guy started when he was just 8 weeks old and is now almost 3.The low ratios, consistent staffing, and learning through play are just a few of the great things about Foundations. We love our school!

We all LOVE Foundations!
Both my son and daughter have attended Foundations since 12 months of age throughout their preschool years, and I have been delighted with the level of care and education that they have received. They have had wonderful teachers who have effectively engaged them in a broad range of activities. The philosophy and approach to teaching and learning, as well as the friendly, nurturing environment at Foundations has allowed both of my children to thrive, despite their very different personalities. My daughter will be leaving to start Kindergarten this year, and we will be so sad to say goodbye to Foundations, where everyone knows her. However, we will move on feeling confident that they have indeed provided her with the very best Foundation for her Future.

We toured many pre-schools and none even came close to comparing with what we found at Foundations for the Future. The environment, the curriculum and the teachers and administrators are all above my highest expectation. I can not say enough wonderful things about Foundations for the Future, and anyone considering this school for their child should stop their search because THIS is where they belong!!
