In 1988, a few friends got together and decided they just couldn’t stomach plain old restaurants that offered nothing more than ho-hum food and mediocre service. They wanted something different, something with ties to the community and the type of food that makes people sit up and take notice. And they wanted a restaurant where genuine Southern hospitality was the norm, rather than the exception. And so Fatz was born.

While the first restaurant wasn’t exactly fancy – it was in a converted roadside peach shed – it had what mattered most: Great service. Great food. Great prices. And it worked. We’ve been serving throughout the South for over 25 years, and we’re just getting started. Today, Fatz still offers folks Southern favorites at restaurants run by their friends and neighbors. We’re more than just another restaurant, we’re family, and we’re always happy to set you a place at the table and help feed your soul.

We were very pleased. We visit Warner Robins location at least once a month and it’s always good. Service is always excellent and food is above and beyond expectations. I personlly recommend anybody trying fatz at least one time. The service manager at the Warner Robins site Amanda Shell will always make your visit worth wile . This is my wife and I favorite restraint in town.

Food good and reasonably priced. I’m writing specifically about the wait staff. On a recent visit about 20 of us converged on the place, making noise, eating food, asking for separate checks. The staff waited on us graciously and professionally. Particular props to Jenna and the two Amandas. I would HATE to have had to wait on us, but they made us feel like we were the only people who mattered. Nicely done. I’d never heard of Fatz before; now I’m a fan.

Went to FATZ and had dinner at the bar. Despite the bartender being pretty busy she was very attentive and welcoming. She provided very quick service and checked on me several times. Their poppy seed rolls were amazing. I had the shrimp and grits for dinner and it rocked! I’ll definitely eat here again.

This place is amazing. Has a southern upscale swag. Their preservation is fancy. The firecrackers are to die for. So glad I stopped traveling through Warner Robbins. I’ll dream about Fatz!
