Jamie Keating, CEC is the chef and manager behind Epic Restaurant. “I have been cooking since I was 15 years old. I believe a great meal is not only about the food, but also the wine, the conversation and the people you share it with. My wife and children are the most important ingredients in my life. Located in the heart of Uptown Columbus, Epic is situated on the banks of the Chattahoochee River. It is a warm and intimate space, surrounded by beautiful artwork from local artist, Teil Duncan. She was able to capture what Epic represents in her paintings; cooking and family. Epic has also landed on a list of the Top 40 fine-dining eateries in the United States, and is the only one from Georgia. It’s one of the featured establishments on the website, Gayot, which promotes itself as “The Guide to the Good Life.” The site covers other aspects of upscale life as well, including hotels, wine, travel and lifestyle.

My husband and I decided to celebrate our 10 year anniversary a week early and had an amazing experience here this evening. This is a fine dining experience I would recommend anyone to try at least once. Although one time won’t be enough. Our food was superb! Coffee and dessert as delicious and they even treated us to a beautifully decorated and tasty anniversary dessert platter. Service was the best we’ve ever had. Never were our glasses empty. We were well well tended to by everyone that passed. We will make sure to make this place our special occassion. Jay was an excellent server!!!! This is a special restaurant in Columbus. Fine dining. Food was very good, exceptional service. This is a must for a special occasion or celebration.

Exceptional experience from the moment you walk in! Best meal and service in town. We celebrated our anniversary and enjoyed a delicious dinner with creative drinks that the bar tender brought over himself. Excellent all around. Would highly recommend this restaurant to all friends and family!

The hospitality was great, we immediately felt welcomed as soon as we entered the door. The decor was very interesting as well. We went during Columbus Restaurant Week and didnt have reservations but the staff was still accommodating to us. Food was amazing; I enjoyed everything that was brought out as well as the unique signature cocktails. The “Song of Fire and Ice” drink was the best. We even got a tour of the kitchen where the restaurant Chef was very welcoming as well. Definitely recommend going to this restaurant!

We have been to the Chef’s Table a few times. It is always an amazing experience for us foodies. They use the most eclectic ingredients, the presentation and flavors and service are always top notch and almost knock my socks off. Look forward to being back soon.
