Ricky and team did a wonderful job on my flooring and I highly recommend them! From the quote to install, everything was super professional. My main concern was matching my existing flooring and they delivered – can’t tell a difference at all. The quality of their work far surpassed my expectations! Ricky gave us a competitive quote and a comprehensive layout of what we should expect. When we returned to our home after our floors were refinished, we were pleasantly surprised at how clean everything was, and how brand new our floors looked Bobby and his team were professional, expeditious and clean.

Emperial Hardwoods just repaired some sections of water damaged hardwoods and then refinished the entire first floor. The repair and install teams are responsive and on time and limited the amount of dust. They were patient with getting the color correct and then the finished floors look great! This is our 2nd time using Ricky and Emperial Hardwoods and I would use them again, highly recommend.

We have just had some flooring installed by Emperial. The work was exemplary – the crew arrived on schedule and worked quickly and efficiently. This much we expected. But what made the experience outstanding was the way in which Ricky worked with us to resolve an issue which arose. He certainly deserves his nickname “Picky Ricky”.

Ricky and his install team did a fantastic job with our project. They had to rip up old carpet and install hardwoods to match existing wood floors. They were able to get an almost perfect match to our existing wood and we now feel like we have a brand new house! The install team was punctual, professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and just nice guys to boot. I’m thrilled with their work and would recommend Emperial to anyone.

Last summer I used another company to repair my hardwood floors and they destroyed them. I Googled hardwood repairs and Emperial Floors popped up. Ricky the owner came out within 24 hours to give us a quote and started the job 24 hours after I signed the contact. Very professional, punctual and offered impeccable work.

Their work was very efficient and professional. I was surprised how neat they left the rooms after sanding each day. My floors look brand new and the newly installed entry floor is as good a match as possible with my 40 year old dining room floor. The price was very reasonable.

We used Emperial to install hardwood floors in 2005. Many grandchildren and dogs later, we asked Emperial to refinish the same floors. The result is they look like they are brand new.

A bit over 2 weeks ago, Emperial refinished over 1,000 SF and added hardwoods to a 330 SF room, all on the same floor. Their bid was the lowest of 3 that I reviewed. All 3 companies told us very similar things, but Ricky did the best at explaining options and consequences. We had to schedule an 8-day trip away from home with our 2 cats while they worked, so it was critical that they perform as and when promised – and they did. The floors are fantastic! The little things – making old gouges disappear, filling small holes…won’t bore you with why we had any of those…they handled perfectly. TV cable came up through the FR floor – they improved the location thru the new floor, right to the wall’s edge. Fireplace hearth, they seamlessly boxed that in – and wove in the flooring from adjacent rooms to the new FR perfectly. I mean – no one could ever tell that the FR was not done at the same time. Perfect. Finally, dust was almost non-existent, meaning we could mostly just put stuff back once we got home. We still smell the finish, faintly – but we’ll wait one more week before returning area rugs. (If you read about this, some say wait 2 weeks, before placing rugs, others say wait 4 – I think when we no longer smell it at all, it’s probably time.) Great company – aside from Ricky, the project leader, Bobby, was just as accommodating. He and his team just killed it. Zero complaints. None.

We have worked with Emperial hardwood floor twice in the last 10 years. They replaced old carpet and installed hardwood and carpet in some areas. Both times it was done professionally and with great care. Steve knows what he is doing and gave a great quote both times. We love our hardwood floors! Thank you so much!

Responsive and meticulous
I asked them in to change some carpeted rooms to hardwood and Rick went out of his way to try to match the existing flooring. He was able to deal with the somewhat annoying issues thrown up by my condo and did an excellent job in the timeframe quoted. Would definitely use them again for flooring
