Love this place. I’ve been twice and expect to go back again. I’ve only been during lunch and it’s awesome. You have a complimentary pot of tea waiting. It’s very hot and very good. I can drink the entire pot alone. (Very tasteful) Your lunch combo comes with an option of an pork egg roll or a chicken wing. The lunch portion is bigger than expected. Staff is very nice and pleasant. I like the general chicken and sweet and sour. I’ve tried the orange chicken and something was off. Maybe it was a bad day but it probably won’t order again. I don’t enjoy sending food back. Over all great service, great food.

Great food, good service, good prices. Been eating here for at least 8 years now and anytime I bring something to their attention (negative or positive) there is always a follow up and correction if needed. The staff has expanded but it seems the owner knows exactly who works well with the family owned establishment. Lunch specials are priced well and service is fast…faster if you tell them you are on a 1 hr or less lunch break.

My family and I have been coming to Emerald China for well over a decade! The friendly staff has provided us with reliable service and tasty food since I was in grade school. Now, practically any time I’m home to see the parents, we dine in at Emerald China.
Emerald China has always been our go-to family restaurant in Duluth. My grandparents are still convinced this the best Chinese restaurant in the Southeast.

From my experience, A+ chicken entrees such as my personal favorites: Yu Shiong chicken, Mongolian chicken, chicken lo mein. My family has tried almost everything on the menu and I’ve never heard complaints! The food always comes fast, as we enjoy a nice round table discussion to catch up as a family. Growing up, it was practically our Sunday tradition to dine in at Emerald China.

Take out options are also just as delicious and well-prepared. We ordered take out last night, and our food was ready for pick up in under 15 minutes. The staff always makes sure your order is correct, because no body wants to get home and realize there was a missing entree. Emerald China will always be a Duluth staple. I’ve never had better Chinese food prepared in the U.S.

I have been going to this place since I was a little girl, great service, the food is fantastic, very clean and quiet, definitely a place to bring your family and friends to.
