Customer Reviews
Been here multiple times the food is always great and the staff is very pleasant.
We had a new waiter this time. He was tall dark and handsome with glasses. He was engaging and very knowledgeable about wine.
It was our anniversary and he brought a champagne toast. That was so nice.
We spent way more money on a bottle of wine but it was totally worth it.
We always get the goat cheese my wife got the gnocci and i got a steak. Everything was perfect and the server even took my valet ticket to the valet and the car was waiting on us even we left.
Thanks Ecco we love you.

As the location for our first date, I was hoping for an atmosphere that was quiet, but had a touch of intimate ambiance. Ecco delivered on both. In addition, the food was excellent. I love salmon, but only when it is done well. The salmon was prepared to perfection and the taste incredible. My date had the scallops, which were delicate, tender, and prepared to perfection without a “fishy” taste. For the final touch we enjoyed the chocolate cake with raspberry drizzle, and split a dish of olive oil, salted caramel ice cream. It doesn’t sound wonderful, but the taste was amazing. This was my first time to visit Ecco, but it will not be my last.

The place has a nice dark, modern environment with light chandeliers that look like fancy shiny gears, I know the description sounds weird, but that’s how I would describe them
For appetizers, we had fried goat cheese and braised beef filled peppers. They tell me the fried goat cheese was really good, I got unlucky and had a delicious fried breading, I lost the cheese somewhere, lol! The peppers were filled and those ones I can say they were really good.I was not feeling like protein so I had the pasta, but for how I saw everyone got quiet and ate all of their food, I’m assuming all the main dishes were good.I have to confess that I forgot to ask the name of our waitress, but she was super nice and knowledgeable, I was drinking cider, and was too dry so she recommended switching to their Riesling which was really good.

We dined 9/14/2019 at ECCO and what a fabulous dining experience! The food was delicious and the service was top notch! The waitress was excellent. She was knowledgeable and attentive but allowed us to enjoy our food uninterrupted. The manager Jay Wilfore served us the wine and took time explaining the flavor which helped us chose a bottle we enjoyed. My husband is from Spain and he and I know how octopus should be prepared. We were apprehensive to try it because it is often times too tough to eat but chose to be adventurous and ordered it. Chef Brent Banda’s octopus dish did not disappoint. It was tender and delicious! The flavors were amazing. Additionally, the sword fish sausage with a lemon citrus sauce for dipping was a unique idea and also delicious. Chef Banda came to our table and introduced himself when the waitress exclaimed how much we loved the octopus dish. Nice touch! He had spent time in Spain and Italy and explained his food vision at the restaurant which was clearly reflected in our delicious dining experience. He is a very talented Chef! We give this restaurant a 10 Plus and will be visiting on our next trip to Atlanta! This is how dining out should be!

Our party of two couples visited without a reservation on a Saturday evening. We were promptly accommodated and served. Starting with drinks specials we noted several interesting cocktails and tried a couple of the offerings. Very nice! Mine was a bourbon and ginger beer (can’t recall the name) that was great, very drinkable and tasty. We enjoyed a meat and cheese selections as an appetizer for the table. Nice choice as we all enjoyed our selections. We also added a small portion of mixed olives that proved very tasty.

One of the best meals – and probably best service – in Atlanta. The service is stellar: excellent recommendations, conversation, and our drink glasses were never empty. Highly recommend any of the pastas (pappardelle is a house special), the rabbit sausage appetizer, octopus appetizer, and of course the goat cheese balls. Also, do yourself a favor and order the Panic at the Pisco – it’s amazing. Not my first time here, and certainly won’t be my last!

Ecco-Midtown is easily becoming a favorite midtown restaurant of mine. This is the second time within a year that we have visited for date night and the service received here is impeccable and the food is very very delicious. This is a classy European style restaurant nestled in Midtown with great ambiance, food and service. On this particular visit we opted for the stuffed peppers which were life changing and I had my usual the Spaghetti with the crab meat which is phenomenal. They also have a great drink menu here so don’t skip out on that either! I definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for great food, romantic vibes, and service that won’t break the bank! Can’t wait to return back and visit again!

Absolutely awesome. Incredible service with the most knowledgeable server I’ve ever encountered. She made our Anniversary dinner amazing. The fried goat cheese is a must appetizer with incredible specials. Dinner was too notch. Third time I’ve been here and well worth the trip while in Atlanta. We don’t drink but their options looked great.

I’ve been to this place several times. It is considered my favorite restaurant to go to! I recommend the fried goat cheese! It was absolutely amazing. You can’t go wrong with any of the entrees. For dessert, we had the olive oil chocolate chip gelato.
Definitely a place to check out if you have the itch for some of the best food in town! This is the real deal
