Dr. Yvonne Scott-Miller has served the women of Metro Atlanta since 1986. She is a 1986 graduate of Louisaiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. She completed her residency training with Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA in 1991. Dr. Scott-Miller proudly served her country in the United States Air Force from 1991 to 1993. Her commission as Major was voluntarily resigned in 1996. Dr. Yvonne Scott-Miller is a Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist who began her private practice in Lawrenceville in 1993.

The focus of her Lawrenceville Gynecology practice is preventive medicine. Annual Examinations, Laboratory evaluation, EKG’s, Bone Density Scanning, mammograms and Colonoscopy Consults are routinely ordered. Her facility also performs many in office procedures that would normally be performed in the hospital. Her competent and professional staff of women is here to serve you today.

I was referred here by my PCP and had my first visit back in Jan. I can say Dr Scott-Miller and front desk staff have been nothing but amazing. Everyone have been nice and anytime I call (not often) the phone is answered and request addressed. I’m always informed of any delays arising and anytime I have an appointment the wait time is NEVER long. The atmosphere is very calming and each of my experiences here thus far have been great!

I had an amazing first experience here! The staff was very patient with me and supportive as I was having a hard time trying to relax throughout the services. I really appreciated how gentle they were and how pleasant the overall experience was. It is really hard to find a gynecologist that’s actually caring and considerate about your well-being and I’m so happy I landed here.

The front desk staff was not welcoming & rude it’s our 1st time visit!

The staff is very rude. I called over a week ago to schedule an appointment asked prior to making appointment if they took my insurance I was told yes when I arrived to my appointment and I’m asked about my insurance. I am told that they do not take my insurance. When I asked when I called to schedule the appointment and was told that my insurance was Accepted The lady on the phone even took my group number and ID number.But when I asked who made the appointment. Everybody looked around and looked confused. Mind you I drove over 45 minutes and took time off of work to make this appointment an absolute waste of time.

Dr. Scott’s office charged me a copay that my insurance didn’t require. When I called the office to have the copay refunded, the payroll manager refused to listen and talked over me. She called me back later to refund the copay without apologizing or admitting that she was wrong. Also, during my visit to Dr. Scott’s office, I had to wait an hour past my appointment time to be seen. While I was waiting, I watched another patient leave because she was waiting so long past her appointment time. The cabinet in my exam room was hanging off its hinges, which did not inspire confidence in the upkeep of the facility. The front desk staff ignored me for several minutes when I stood in front of their desk, even though their sign-in clipboard asks new patients to inform the front desk that they are new patients when signing in. The nurse who took my vitals had an excellent bedside manner. Dr. Scott herself seemed like a skilled doctor and completed my procedure painlessly.

Visits here was pleasant and warm. I really like Dr. Yvonne Scott-Miller and her staff. Dr. Scott is really friendly, professional, easy to talk to, and she actually cares! I definitely, highly recommend her! I enjoyed my visit from start to finish, even the music.

I love going to Dr Scott. She is wonderful. Have been going for over 7 years and I just enjoy seeing her. She has a lab in her office so full workups are done. She has educated me in so many ways. I have also referred my relatives who go to her now as well. I will continue to go to her as long as she continues to practice she is wonderful.

Dr. Yvonne is an amazing, caring doctor. She always says the right thing at the right time, leading me to change my health decisions for the better. The office is cozy and has a relaxing atmosphere. The nurses are kind and efficient. The session is quick but thorough. I am glad to have Dr. Yvonne Miller as my OBGYN.

I have been a patient for the last 7 years and I live Dr. Scott and her staff. Now that she is in Snellville I drive even further to go here because of the service. She is absolutely amazing and easy to talk to. When you go to a gyn you want to be able to see a physician that you feel comfortable with (especially with your last parts and concerns).

Her bedside manner is one of a kind, the wait isn’t long, and the ladies in the front are polite and funny. I enjoy this office and will continue to refer my friends and family. She no longer does maternity and referred me to another really good OB. When I had my son last year and I was in the ER and my son was in the NICU she knew I was there while she was doing a procedure and came to see me. Seeing her gave me a great relief and comfort. She didn’t have to but she did. I wish she would consider delivering babies again!

I am new to Georgia from NY where I had been with my Gyn for over 20 years so finding a new Gyn was leaving me somewhat nervous. Today was my first visit to Dr. Scott’s office and everyone was polite and professional. The decor is warm and inviting, like sitting in a living room. To the ladies in the office, Suzette, Alecia and Yolanda(forgive any name misspelling please), thank you for making my first visit a pleasant experience. To Dr. Scott, you were wonderful, my exam and your bedside manner were warm and professional and through. To Antoinette, thank you for no pain and Wendy, thank you for your care. I highly recommend Dr. Scott!

Very clean and inviting. The waiting room seating are so comfortable. The young ladies that work in the office are very professional and caring. Dr. Scott-Miller is one of the best. She makes you feel comfortable and provides excellent care and information. If you are looking for a top of the line GYN care please call this office. You are going to be in excellent hands.
