Eduard Docu, M.D., Dr. Docu completed medical school in Bucharest, Romania. He then completed his residency training in Flint, Michigan. Dr. Docu has been practicing medicine in Savannah, GA since 2004. Family Medicine (FM) is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care to people of all ages.

It is a form of primary care that provides continuing, comprehensive health care for the individual and family across all ages, sexes, diseases, and parts of the body. It is based on knowledge of the patient in the context of the family and the community, emphasizing disease prevention and health promotion.

One of the BEST doctors in the Savannah, Ga area. Always alert to the patients needs. Recently I visited the doctors office to have blood drawn as part or my regular visit. Dr. Docu saw me in the hall, followed me to the nurses office, expressed his concern as to how I looked, offered to drive me home, expedited my blood work, and finally had me admitted to Chandler hospital. Through test concluded that my kidneys were shouting down and he had the foresight to take the actions that saved my life!!!

Dr. Docu’s office is great! I love his staff and they make me feel like family. The wait time is usually very little and when I call with questions my message is usually received and I have a returned call by the end of the day.

I have been very happy with Dr. Docu and his staff. I especially have enjoyed seeing his nurse practitioner Judy when he is unavailable. She is super sweet and easy to talk to. She takes the time to listen. I also feel Dr. Docu takes the time to listen. He comes in to see you and sits down and does not seem to be rushing. He works to build a rapport with his patients. I feel my needs have been taken care of and I trust him and his staff. I am also glad he still sees his patients when they are admitted to the hospital. A lot of pcp’s no longer see their patients in the hospital but they are seen by hospitalists. I am glad that if I am ever in the hospital Dr. Docu will have my back. He is someone who I know and trust.

I’ve been with this doctor for about 7 years and have had nothing but great professional service from his practice. Couldn’t ask for a better doctor . He has met my every need with my illness a bit complicated, I will admit, along with the fact he has made me feel cared for at each and every visit.
