I contracted DGS to rebuild my chimney that had rotted from an improperly installed rain cap. DGS came out to my house and gave me a fair estimate that clearly included the overage costs (dependent on what was found inside after removing the cement boards). The construction was completed within 2 days. After the work was completed, the foreman inspected the chimney and found some paint discoloration from recent rain. He had the painters repaint the outside (at no cost to me) with a higher quality paint. Overall, it was a very positive experience and I would contract them again for future home improvements.
Based on the other reviews I see, perhaps it helps that I worked with Heidel. He was very responsive and, if he couldn’t call me right back, Diana was also helpful.

The difference with DGS contractors versus other deck contractors was the initial conversations regarding my deck, they had a much stronger handle on the design options and the attention to detail I was looking for. I had a pretty clear idea of what I wanted, the suggestions they made were really on point and actually improved the outcome tremendously. Terrific creative partners to work with, combined with 100% reliability and fast, on-budget execution. Great experience and highly recommended. If you are in need of General Contractors in Atlanta, try them they are a company of trust.

During a very busy season for renovations, DGS called us back, had a guy out by the end of the week to give us a quote and we were put on the schedule within 2 weeks. They opened up two walls and moved plumbing as well as added 13 can lights and smoothed out our ceilings. They were clean and efficient, respectful of my schedule. It was a quick and painless process. I recommend Jairo and his crew, very professional to work with.

Great company; hard workers.
I hired them in order tear down my old deck and build a new, safe one that is up to code.
Kirt Cahill, the representative, explained the project; and did all the ‘foot work’ with the City of Johns Creek in order to get the project approved. Francisco and his team came and worked nonstop; & got the deck done . In order to ensure the deck’s stability & safety, they bolted one side of the deck to the house main frame. Israel and his team then came and carefully repaired the drywall that had to be disrupted during the bolting.
Diana and Paul , on the scheduling end, were always very professional and polite on the phone and by email.
I would highly recommend this company.
