DELLWOOD KENNEL HAS LOTS OF ROOM FOR YOUR DOG TO RUN. No
wire cages for all night stay, never in a room where other animals can
harm your pet. All animals can see each other, but never ever are they
in the same pen together – NEVER. We never leave your dog unattended on
overnight stays. We live on the property and tend your dog day and night. You
see, when we lock up for the night, we are still here!

2. Tues. & Wed. open only from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm for
scheduled pick-ups or drop-offs.

We reserve the right to turn down any dog for any reason but not limited to: mean
dogs, biting dogs, sick dogs, dogs less than 6 months of age, no shot records. If
a dog bites & breaks the skin, by law, we are required to report that bite to
animal control.
Owners are responsible for any vet bills incurred while their dog boards with
us. We work hard to make sure all dogs are safe at all times.

Initially I was hesitant due to the mix reviews. I went there and check out the installation and met one of the staff members. She was very friendly and showed me around.

One the day I was to drop my two dogs off they opened early for me. While I was on vacation I as able to keep in contact with them and ask how my boys were doing Gabe even sent me pics when I requested. I came back early and they stayed a bit later after to closing to let me pick up my dogs. Great staff and very very friendly.

Now keep in mind if you dogs are used to getting pampered this probably isn’t the place for you. Though I know the dogs are well taken care of and maintained. I would gladly recommend this place to anyone. Thank you guys so much!

took the time to read the reviews, and I decided to try them. Here is the thing, The mixed reviews leave a confused feeling, I had a dog abused by a boarding place, I know what an unhappy dog looks like, I was greeted when I dropped off and picked up my dog by the owners. My dog is a brat, and can get nippy with other dogs, and is unsure of new people at times.

He clicked with Dan right away, he wasn’t fearful or felt threatened. I worried about him being next to other dogs’. They did put him alone, and when I picked him up he was next to other dogs’. This didn’t concern me because at no time did my dog or the other dogs’ look like they were fighting or aggression took place.

My dog was fed, and happy, he actually didn’t want to leave!!! When the owner let him out of his pin, he decided he wanted to visit and play, IF he was not happy or had aggression issues with the other dogs, I would have seen it as soon as they let him out.

I do not understand half of these negative reviews, from the racist remark ( Yet, this person said the conversation was over the phone). To the claims a dog wasn’t fed, however when I showed up it was evident they just fed the dogs, or were just feeding the dogs (I came as soon as they opened, and dropped him off at an odd time to catch them off guard). I had no issues with this company and my dog was there for a while.

As I write this my dog is snoring his butt off, I was met with a friendly and understanding staff. They took my random phone calls and reassured me. My dog will only be boarded here as it is very apparent they care.

Have taken our dog here several times. Not really sure why there are so many negative reviews for this place. Never had any problems with my dog or the owners. Never had any problems with my dog being dirty, malnourished, sick or injured either.

Nothing but good things to say about the owners. They know us (me, my wife and our dog) by name and are always pleasant and willing to work with us on payment. If you’re new to the area and you need a kennel, give them a chance. If you don’t like there service go somewhere else. We will continue to use them and to recommend them.

My experience with Dellwood Kennel was great. They were extremely nice and professional. I had a chance to walk through the kennel and they were pretty clean. I read all the bad reviews prior to using them and I did not experience anything like that. I got my dogs back as healthy as they were when I dropped them off.
