This was our first time at this restaurant. We tried it because of other positive Yelp reviews and after checking the health inspection reports. I had the Chimichanga platter, one chicken, one beef and my wife tried the Enchilada platter, 2 chicken and 1 beef. Our server suggested substituting grilled vegetables for the rice and beans which my wife opted for. She loved them! The food was outstanding and we enjoyed the pitcher of margarita too. We will definitely be back many more times!! This isn’t good Mexican food, this is great Mexican food!!! Give it a try and you won’t be disappointed.

Armando is the ultimate in owners. despite the fact we only get to Atlanta once a year, Armando not only remembers us, but our family as well. The food is fabulous at this ‘hole in the wall’ genuine Mexican restaurant. I’m glad it is just around the corner from our retirement home in Lawrenceville as we’ll be eating there often!

I love love love Cuernavaca!! The food is amazing! The service is great! It’s family owned and I love the entire family! Not to mention they have the very best salsa and chicken soup on the planet! Both which are a family recipe! It doesn’t get any better than Cuernavaca!!

My boyfriend and I go to Cuernavaca almost every week. (Sometimes two or three times). It’s our absolute favorite place to go. The service is great, the staff is great, the food is amazing. We’re both big Chimichanga fans so we’ve tried almost every place around us and this is by far the best one. We used to be right around the corner but now we’re 30 minutes away and we still make the drive because it’s that amazing. The staff is so attentive and friendly. I definitely recommend asking for Sineé or Tania they’re our favorites!

Great customer service! Staff is courteous & make you feel very welcomed. Whether the host at the door, bartender or owner himself, everyone accommodated my needs! The food was excellent!!! The frozen drink that I had (sorry forgot name) was also amazing! We will definitely return. I have recommended to my Mexican friends for validation of my fondness, w/hopes that it also meets their expectations.
