We believe that everyone should have his or her own primary care physician for proper coordination of this or her health care. Your primary care physician can oversee the different aspects of your health, and ensure that proper measures are taken to provide appropriate specialty care.

Checking with you primary care physician before seeing a specialist is always appropriate. Physicians that practice Internal Medicine, Family Practice, and Pediatrics are all considered primary care physicians.
