At Chiropractic Works, we aim to educate our patients and Athens, GA about Chiropractic and other natural solutions to common health problems in order to motivate you to take a more active and responsible role in restoring and maintaining your own health as well as the people around you.

As a scholarship gymnast, “Ken” graduated from UGA in 1987 with a degree in exercise physiology. A 1992 graduate of Life Chiropractic College, Ken has practiced in Georgia for 21 years. Returning to Athens in early 2009 he took over the very successful CHIROPRACTIC WORKS, established in 1985. With his background as an athlete and having worked with novice and top level olympic and professional athletes.

Ken offers a unique blend of Chiropractic, Nutrition & Weight Loss, Sleep Wellness, Exercise Physiology, and rehabilitative techniques in the prevention and treatment of sports related and spinal injuries. Dr. Cook is also Athens’ only expert in spinal decompression for the non-surgical treatment of lower back disc conditions, and is also Athens’ only certified BrainCore clinic using neurofeedback therapy to address conditions such as ADD/ADHD, tension & migraine headaches, memory loss, learning disorders, fibromyalgia, chronic pain, and insomnia.

Dr. Cook is a fantastic chiropractor and is incredibly intentional with his clients. I came in for problems with severe migraines and upper back pain. He has helped so much with adjustments and aiding in my wellness regimen. He has been practicing for a long time and is great at what he does. I feel taken care of every time I go in for an adjustment! I cannot recommend his practice enough.

Dr Cook is amazing! I have been coming to him for the past 10 years. We no longer live in Athens, but I make the drive for him to adjust me. This practice is great and I will continue to come to Dr Cook.

All I can say is that Dr. Cook and his precious staff of amazing woman practically saved my life! Working out/exercise was, and thanks to them, still is, a HUGE part of my life style! Not just for physical health, but also for my mental health. I had done plenty of research on my condition and everything else, short of surgery, and nothing was even remotely helping improve the condition or relieve my endless pain…not even epidural shots, and that is the God’s honest truth! Not only was I unable to exercise any more, everything was painful and exhausting. I was unable to get a full night’s sleep due to the constant pain in my lower back. I was becoming some what depressed and hopeless. I thought the only thing left to do was to accept my situation and learn to exist with it. Than someone close to me who had gone to Dr. Cook referred me to him. Today, I am back to exercising – swimming, the elliptical, yoga, Pilates, etc. Running had done such extensive damage, that today, I am “OK” not participating in it! Before you give up, give Dr. Cook a call! Thank you Doc, Jerri, Sherri and Melissa! You’re the best!
