This is the best Mexican Hot Spot you will ever find!!! The food is amazing and always consistently awesome! The Molcajete, Casanova Salad, Chicken Soup, Carne Asada are our favorites!! The Molcajete is enough for 2 people as the Steak, Chicken and Shrimp will melt in your mouth as it sizzles in a sauce that it made to perfection!! The Chicken Soup is the best I’ve ever had and enough to take home for the next day. The manager is very attentive and makes sure everyone is completely satisfied!! They treat you like family here and the waiters/waitress’s are the friendliest and always have a smile on their faces! If you want a real margarita the “Texas Margarita” is the best I’ve had anywhere! The prices, portions and taste you just can’t beat!!!! Whoever would say it’s just ok, truly doesn’t know good Mexican food!!!

Thanks, Yelp, for helping me discover a really great little Mexican food joint. My only issue with this establishment is how far away it is from my home. That might be a good thing because I’d eat here all the time.
I’m always on the hunt for a good Mexican place. Is it just me or do they seem to be lacking in the ATL? I’m happy to say I have no complaints about Casanova.
I was in between appointments and hangray so I pulled up Yelp and let it lead me to the next wondrous meal. I wanted Mexican and the raving reviews made me very curious. I walked in around 3:45 to a semi quiet restaurant. I’m guessing they had just finished up their lunch rush but there were a few people dining when I walked in.
The service was great – friendly, but not pushy, and quick. The salsa was fresh and plentiful and the chips had the right amount of salt. I had chimichangas, one beef, one chicken, and rice and beans. I was in heaven! I didn’t see until the very end that they make an array of fresh squeezed juices of all kinds. If I wasn’t bursting at the seams, I’d have taken one to go.
I raved to my husband about Casanova when I got home. I hope we can both make it back sometime soon.

It is infrequent that I give a 5 star rating as I always feel to make that statement I’m agreeing that there is nothing that tops it. I am using 5 stars here because it is among one of the best Mexican places I’ve ever eaten.
The restaurant is housed in a little strip mall and there is ample parking. Inside you will find brightly painted walls with the usual Mexican colors. There are both booths and tables. We elected to sit on the outdoor patio which was on the shady side of the building bit also offers covering and fans, quite nice.
There is a full bar with several brews on draft. They offer a 12 ounce and 32 ounce draft. I paid an unbelievable 4.50 for 32 ounces of cold dos equis amber, quite a value in my experience. My hubby chose the Coronarita. Let’s just say that’s all he needed.
The menu has a very nice selection. He had a sampler; pretty much his standard go to and said it was good. I had the molcajete and thought it exceptional, highly recommend. In fact there is enough food that next time I will probably just suggest we share it.
The whole bill was 42.00 which I believe is a very good value. We will definitively make this a regular go to place.
