Car Craft is a trustworthy and high-quality place! They are a little bit pricey, but if you’re willing to pay a small premium for an auto shop with great integrity, friendly people, and quality work on your car, this is a great spot. I drive a Volkswagen and did not know where to go when the dealership left Athens a few years ago. These people know the car just as well and have kept my car running great well over 100,000 miles.

Updated review- I had an issue with my car that was a little complex so I had to bring it back. Dianna was apologetic that I didn’t receive a detailed explanation on the first trip. I ended up needing a more expensive repair, but she was incredibly communicative and worked with me on price, including price matching from another vender. She also called me at one point on speaker with their tech, to fully explain what was going on. I’ve never seen that level of initiative or clear communication from any shop. She told me they are committed to great customer service and thorough quality work, and it shows. I’ll continue to bring our vehicles here as long as we’re living in the area.

We were having electrical issue with a 2010 VW GTI and Car Craft figured out the problem and found a couple of other things that needed to be addressed. Tanya was so nice and helpful. The main problem was a short in the headlights which meant replacing them. The original quote for the headlights was almost $3000. We agreed that a 14 yr old car didn’t need the fancy turning headlights so she talked with the mechanics to come up with solutions. They were able to find more basic replacement headlights and just rewired and reprogrammed them. They work great! We really appreciated their willingness to help us. Above and beyond!

I’ve been going to Car Craft for 12 years and am obviously very happy with their service. Good people who have taken excellent care of my vehicles, and never fail to give me a lift to or from my home when I want to leave the car with them. Highly recommended!

Car craft is absolutely the best car repair shop in Athens. The employees are so kind, especially Mrs. Tanya at the front. They are honest and fairly priced and will always give you a breakdown of how much it’s going to cost. I won’t be taking my car anywhere else for maintenance or repairs. If I could give them a 6 out of 5 stars I would.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The diagnostics were reasonably priced, especially given all the information I received. Not only did they verbally communicate well, but they also backed it with texts that included an easily translated estimate and a list of findings. The repairs were done in a timely manner. I am very impressed. Not only will I return for future maintenance and repairs, but I will also be referring friends/family/coworkers to them.

The staff at car craft was very friendly and super helpful with my repair. I was able to use a loaner overnight since I could not get there until late. They took car of the paperwork for my warranty… all done with a smile and clear explanations. I highly recommend them for your repair needs!
