You want to know the real reason why this restaurant is as good as it gets?
I just devoured my 2 day old leftovers this morning and it tasted like I was at Caper’s all over again for the first time. The quality and taste of the food here is to die for! I’ve never truly enjoyed leftovers at any other restaurant until today.
Caper’s on Main Streets is so delicious, that I’ve decided to induct them into my top 10 favorite places to dine in Atlanta (although it’s 25 minutes out of the city). The menu here is so unique, because it’s not categorized by one type of food group. They have a little bit of everything, but it doesn’t come off tacky as if it’s difficult to identify their culinary concept. I believe they’re just good at making amazing food, no matter what it is. They’ve mastered their signature dishes and just went with it! And I have to tell you… it has definitely worked in their favor!
I ordered one of the Chef’s Specials, which was Blackened Trout topped with an Andouille Creole Cream Sauce and for the sides, I had mashed sweet potatoes and garlic green beans. One word = MOUTHWATERING. Everything was cooked and plated to perfection. Each bite was accompanied by plenty of “YAAAAS, OOOHS, and AHHHS!”I guess you can say my life was changed after this meal. I was very impressed and could totally tell that the cooks here at Caper’s are passionate about the food they create. Even the dessert was spectacular. I had the Fried Pound Cake that was topped with fresh strawberries, vanilla ice cream, and a strawberry sauce.
I can go on and on about how good this place is, but I think I’ve painted the picture enough! Hopefully, I woke up your tastebuds and inspired you to make a reservation for dinner tonight. Enjoy!

Experienced a New favorite fine dining this evening. Crispy duck mashed sweet potatoes and creamed spinach it so flavorful you will clean your plate. I sampled the stuffed snapper and fried pound cake with strawberry and ice cream so sinful. Diverse cuisine from lamb duck snapper salmon and crab cakes and the ambience to compliment any mood. Dinner here is probably the best I have had in Kennesaw for nicer American food, and they are one of a few places in town with spinach dip. Tip: have dinner at the bar for quicker service on busy weekends. You can still get semi-private seating and skip the wait.
Brunch: They have delicious rolls with homemade strawberry butter that are to die for. They also keep my coffee full which isn’t easy, so kudos to the service staff. I had the blueberry pancakes and they were pretty dense and a little overcooked. I was pretty disappointed in my entree. My husband had the chicken and waffles and loved it.
