There are lots of good reviews about this company and they do very good work.
However, a word of caution in the event you need an emergency tree removal. The price goes WAY WAY up and in my opinion, to overreach levels. Additionally, while capable of providing a quote, they won’t. My “guess” is because you’ll get sticker shock and move on to the next company. It was 100% our fault for signing a contract without an estimate. I take full responsibility and regret dealing with Pearce. It’s a high pressure sales situation when a tree is on your house. Salesman Pearce took full advantage of this. He kept assuring us the insurance company would cover the tab (which they paid most of), but would not give us a price. Personally, I think he took advantage of us in a venerable state…and took advantage of our insurance company.
One large tree, needing their smaller crane, 4 workers and 11 hours of work (done in one day) was $14,000. That’s nearly $1,300/hr. Additionally, they spent a good bit of time setting up the crane, which they were having difficulty with…not sure I should have to pay full rate for that.
So while they are a reputable company and do good work, I am disappointed how things were communicated and handled financially.

We had some tree branches hanging over our house removed by Boutte Tree. The service they provided was excellent and timely. The only nagging problem was our next door neighbor trying to tell them what they can and can’t do and how they were to do their job. He didn’t want them to use their chipper to get rid of the tree branches. The guys from Boutte kindly and with excellent professional demeanor politely told the neighbor from hell that they were going to use the chipper to complete their job. We’re happy to say “VERY PLEASED WITH THE WORK DONE.”

Boutte is the real deal! They are super knowledgeable – about trees, about the permitting process. It’s so helpful to have such knowledgeable, experienced experts working with you on what can be a scary, expensive issue to deal with. Shout out to John Kaufman for taking the time to really talk through all my trees with me and give me long term advice, not just upsell me. Can’t recommend more highly!

Hudson, Ricardo, and Milton of Boutte Norcross did an excellent job. Punctual, professional, and tidy. All three were incredibly friendly and helpful. Boutte Tree is my “go to” tree service and I highly recommend them to family, friends, and coworkers. Thank you!!

Boutte has trimmed limbs and cut trees for me three times. Two of these jobs were very tricky – limbs over the house and trees on a very steep slope. The crew was well prepared, well equipped, and super fast. They were extremely careful and safe. They also were good about cleaning up the debris.

Boutte Tree Service trimmed and pruned 6 trees for me. The team of Rick, Marquis and Yaquim together with the salesperson Todd Harkleroad was exceptional. Before they left they wanted to know what I thought of their work and did not leave until I was completely satisfied even after I asked for some additional branches to be cut down. I will hire Boutte again and recommend them.

Love these folks! They always come out and quote you estimate BEFORE they cut down your trees. Their arborists are knowledgeable and offer helpful hints to help you take care of your trees and lawn.

Very profession, fast and careful. Removed tree — from a difficult spot, wedged between property line wall & deck structure — that had fallen on our deck. Did so with precision. Highly recommend to others given how many services we have used in the past that do not value customer service or apply care to yard, cars, wires, or health of flora and fauna. We will definitely keep Boutte on file for tree service in the future.
