Great restaurant, ambiance and food! Ate at the bar and the bartender was so friendly and helpful! Had the lobster roll appetizer and was plenty for one person! Lobster was fresh and light! Not heavy in mayo or filler! Loved the selection of organic beer! I am an out of towner and so glad this restaurant was recommended to me. It is so hard to find restaurants like this when you travel!

The service was great and the food was delicious as well. Our waiter was kind, genuine, and well-informed when we asked questions about the menu.
Affordable meals and a casual atmosphere makes this restaurant the perfect location for a simple dinner or lunch date. I will be returning here for sure!

I have heard many people recommend this little restaurant. I will be the first to say… With good reason. The ambiance of the entire restaurant is very forward thinking and new age. You almost wish the venue was larger. However, the humble stature lends itself to a more intimate dining experience. My girl friend and I were pleasantly surprised.
We started out with an appetizer and small salad to split. The fried pickles and okra were a definite win. Imagine pickled okra, the very few people who enjoy this will know exactly what I am talking about. Now imagine the pickled okra breaded and fried. Throw in some fried pickles and line the bottom of you dish with bacon jelly. Phenomenal is the best word for describing this concoction. The salad was more standard fare. Spring mix, candied walnuts, dried blueberries, and pear dressing. No complaints just nothing special.
The real star of the show was the main entree. I had the signature Shrimp and Grits. Now I at this point I would consider myself a foodie. Eating out has become as much a hobby as a means for activities to enjoy with my girl friend. One of the most common dishes I run into is each restaurants take on Shrimp and Grits. No two variances have been the same. This has resulted in me assuming that no fine dining experience is complete without sampling the chefs version of this iconic dish. That being said.
I would have to rank Bite’s Shrimp and Grits among some of the best I have ever sampled. From the shredded and smoke chicken, sliced garlic cloves, perfectly textured stone ground grits, and grilled shrimp this was a tasty dish to definitely not be missed.
I can not recommend this restaurant experience anymore.
