Welcome to Azul Tequila Taqueria & Cantina Lounge, the prime spot in Peachtree City to indulge in the flavors of “Authentic” Cocina Mexicana (Mexican Cooking) & Cocktails. This dining experience all began with three Mexican men’s desire to have a place where people can come & enjoy real down-home Mexican food without having to make the 30 minute drive to the heart of Atlanta. We strive to provide our patrons with a wide variety of traditional Mexican Dishes that we prepare fresh daily.

Azul Tequila is dedicated to the culture of Jalisco Mexico. Everything about the region inspires us: the food, the music, the decor & of course the Tequila! We are honored to convey this dedication to you through our traditional cooking and world-famous expertise in fine 100% Agave Tequila. Azul Taqueria Downstairs in our taqueria, the idea is to serve the same kind of tacos & dishes that we used to eat in the streets of Mexico, which any Mexican will tell you, is where you find the best food!

Tequila originates from the Jalisco, Mexico area & is produced from the Blue Agave Plant, a plant native to Mexico. Azul Cantina Lounge Located on the upper floor of the building is our Cantina Lounge. The main attraction here is our extra-large selection of tequilas. What many do not know is that the tequila spirit is not meant to be a “shooter”, but a drink to sip & enjoy as you would a Margarita or a mixed beverage.

Although we do not offer our full menu in our cantina lounge we do offer a Tapas (appetizer) menu for you to enjoy along with your drinks. Azul Agua Before eating or drinking any or our dishes or cocktails we encourage you to take a few sips of water. This tradition comes from the idea that the water will wash away all the previous flavors that are still on your taste buds, in order to truly be able to enjoy the flavors you are about to experience.

We’ve gone several times in the past two years, every special occasion, lunch date and all around go to when we want good food and great atmosphere! Excellent food, the housemade guacamole with warm tortillas is fresh and delicious. They are prompt with our appetizers, and entrees. They’re shredded beef tacos are filling and you get several sides to choose from. The portions are well sized, but we always take home leftovers! When checking our IDs when placing our drinks order the waitress noticed that it was my sisters birthday and surprised us when they brought out a complimentary dessert!! Their homemade Churros with Carmel dipping sauce was to die for!! Service is friendly and prompt, food is always fresh and delicious, our favorite Mexican restaurant bar none!

After hearing rave reviews about this place, came to try it out for dinner. It was great! Came in on a Friday night and it was full, food and service were great. Their Margarita and Tequila selection are what you would find in places like Las Vegas. Had the cucumber margarita and it was so refreshing and tasty, for dinner I had the Azul fajitas and my wife had the mahi-mahi tacos and both were perfect with their fresh, hand made tortillas! Best Mexican restaurant in town.

Very good authentic Mexican restaurant in PTC, the servers and hosts are always so warm and welcoming, plus the food is delicious. I usually get the chicken, steak, and shrimp mocajete bowl with tortillas it’s so good. If you’re on the edge, definitely try this place.

Wanted to try a different Mexican place to get my taco fix and this place totally hit the spot! I have now found my go-to taco joint! I got Barbacoa, carnitas and pollo on oh-so fresh soft corn tortillas. The meat was seasoned to perfection and so flavorful and tender. I loved that they have a good sides menu and allow you to pick the 2 sides you want instead of just the same ole rice ‘n beans. I got the seasoned white rice and cactus salad. Hubby got the steak fajitas and they were also so delicious! Can’t wait to come back and hopefully sit on the nice patio in the warm weather!

Excellent food, generous servings and good prices. My husband likes the traditional Nachos, I love the Skinny Tacos (mahi-mahi on romaine lettuce leaves with cilantro mayonnaise) comes with 2 sides. We also like the Azul fajitas. We get the single for $15.99 and split it. still have enough leftover to bring home. Good service.
