The restaurant has been open for 23 years, the Augustino’s concept was introduced 18 years ago and since arriving, Chef Laponzina has taken it to the new heights. Augustino’s continues to evolve under his careful direction keeping up with current tastes and continuing to deliver an experience that comes straight from the heart.

Augusta Marriott’s upscale Italian eatery is known for certified Angus steaks & pasta-bar lunches. Front and center the food is the star here, he and the talented staff allow you to enjoy delicious and savory dishes without distraction. In addition to his duties in Augustino’s he also oversees the kitchen and menu operations of the Augusta Marriott at the Convention Center.

We have developed, evolved and refined the restaurant over the past 5 years. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day of the year; our aim is to serve the metropolitan Augusta community as well as hotel guests. We designed the restaurant to be comfortable and approachable for everyday dinning yet still a unique experience.

The menu focuses on hearty, simple fare, created with fresh ingredients inspired by the food of Northern Italy. We also serve Certified Angus Beef; simply put some of the finest steaks that you can find. The menu changes several times throughout the year; designed to match peoples eating habits, to provide healthy options, and take advantage of fresh seasonal foods.

Awesome breakfast brunch on Sundays. If you a hungry for a large selection of food, you would most certainly benefit from the Sunday brunch at the Augustino’s Italian Restaurant in the Downtown Augusta Marriott. I took my brother and his family when they visited from out of town and this place did not disappoint. We have been there several times after Church and they loved it. A+++ food and service. You will be impressed.

My husband took me to Augustinos last night and we had a fantastic time. The food came out quickly, our waitress was excellent and checked on us regularly. I had the Florentine pasta and added grilled chicken to it and it was the best pasta I’ve ever eaten! Very generous portions. This morning we had the breakfast buffet, since we stayed at the hotel, and it was just fantastic. I highly recommend it. Please disregard food snobs and trolls…Augustino’s is the best place to eat in Augusta, GA.

My husband took me to Augustino’s for dinner last Saturday. We had made a reservation and the person who helped us made sure to find a table we would like. Our waiter was professional and helpful. I ordered the special, which was lobster and mushroom rissoto, and my husband had the salmon. Both were delicious. The lobster was cooked perfectly (I am from Maine, and have found people tend to overcook lobster, but not here!) My husband’s salmon was also cooked to perfection. We shared bread which we dipped in Georgian olive oil. Delicious! We were happy and will certainly return.

Ate in the restaurant twice during our stay at the Marriott – for lunch and dinner. Both were excellent. For an interesting twist on a salad, don’t miss The Martini Salad presentation tableside. Food was great and servers were very friendly and knowledgeable about menu items.

When I am in Augusta Georgia all of my friends know that Augustino’s is first on my list for dinning. The perfect ambiance in an atmosphere of perfection. I have driven an hour to indulge in the pasta bar. Most of my business guest are surprised by the pasta bar and service. I had some guest from Miami that said “there was nothing like this in Miami”. The friendly professional wait staff and management will insure your dinning experience to be 5 star.
