Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School (AJMLS) was founded in 1933 and is accredited by the American Bar Association. AJMLS was named for John Marshall, the fourth chief justice of the Supreme Court of the United States. AJMLS is located in midtown Atlanta, Georgia.

AJMLS offers both part-time and full-time programs leading to a J.D., a full-time Honors Program in Criminal Justice, an LL.M. program in Employment Law (online), an LL.M in American Studies (Resident) and an LL.M. in American Legal Studies (Online).

In late 2011, AJMLS opened a branch in Savannah, Georgia, named Savannah Law School.

Student Body: Our student body is all inclusive, regardless of race, gender, etc…. I can’t name one single incident of challenge in regard to diversity, as the school is extremely diverse and get along well.

Academic Flexibility: As a mother of 6, I am able to take full time, part time, day or evening classes. If I experience a hardship during the semester, accommodations are made to help my situation.

I remember when my mom started attended John Marshall, she was scared and nervous. She would attend tutoring sessions on the weekends and class during the evening while teaching during the day. Last week I went to court with her for the first time and watched her represent someone. I am so grateful that John Marshall made her dreams come true.
