AFC/Doctors Express Urgent Care in Atlanta is open every day with extended hours. No appointments are needed, and we accept most insurance plans. Our licensed doctors and trained medical staff are here to help you with a wide variety of issues from cuts and sprains to sore throats and infections and nearly and everything in between.

Our Walk In Clinic allows you to get hospital quality care without having to sit in an emergency room for hours, and when you can’t meet with your primary doctor. Located at the Howell Mill exit just off of I-75 we are a convenient source of medical care for the Buckhead, Vinings, Smyrna, Midtown, and West-Midtown communities of Atlanta.

We have on-site lab tests, x-rays, and prescriptions, with no appointments needed to get care. We’re a state-of-the-art urgent and express care center with professional medical staff on-site every day. Urgent Care
AFC/Doctors Express provides treatment for injuries and illnesses offering a convenient, lower-cost alternative to visiting a hospital emergency room.

Digital X-Ray Services
We have digital x-ray equipment on-site. When you leave, you take a CD copy of your x-rays with you.

Lab Work
Our on-site laboratory meets CLIA standards. We provide testing for the most of the tests required by urgent care patients while you wait.

Hurt my wrist in a fall. They took me with very little wait, did an X-ray, verified no break, and accurately diagnosed the problem. The doctor seemed very knowledgeable and the tech was pleasant and competent. I will use them again. So many times the problem does not seem to rise to the level of going to ER, yet you are afraid to wait for days or even weeks for an appointment with a specialist, so this is the perfect place.

Very professional office staff with short wait times. The doctor was Awesome. She actually listened and put me at ease very quickly. I think I could’ve shared my life story with her. Great Job American Family. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.
