I highly recommend Advanced dentistry. I have been a patient there since 2014 and have received TMJ treatment and regular cleanings at their office. The facility is inviting and beautiful, and the staff are warm and friendly from the minute you arrive. Patricia always is so helpful at the front desk and greets me by name. Jamie did a wonderful and thorough job cleaning my teeth, and Wyndi and Emily were great when I was receiving TMJ care. Dr. Patrick’s treatment changed my life; I had severe TMJ symptoms before visiting him that other dentists were unable to fix. I experience virtually zero symptoms now, and my daily well-being has increased drastically as a result of their care. One of the things I like best about their practice is that Dr. Patrick is involved in continuing education and attends conferences to obtain the most up-to-date information on dentistry research. As a graduate student (we spend a lot of time reading and conducting scientific research), I place high value on the practice’s dedication to ensuring its patients receive the most cutting-edge scientific treatment available.

Dr. Patrick has been our family dentist for ages. When our children were small they LOVED going to the dentist. We never had any issues with fear – probably because they never had any discomfort, let alone pain. My daughter had several cavities filled before she ever knew that there was a shot involved with filling teeth. (At 15, she peeked when it was time to “put the tooth to sleep”). I have terrible teeth, and I’ve had cavities filled, on-lays and crowns done by Dr. Patrick. Before we moved to Athens, I’d had a LOT of work done by several dentists around the country. None can hold a candle next to Dr. Patrick’s work. I have recommended him and will continue to recommend him to any and all who are seeking a great dentist. His preventive care with our younger children is undoubtedly why they haven’t had the issues with cavities that I or my eldest daughter have. In addition, his staff is fabulous – excellent hygienists and the front office staff are friendly, efficient and always ready to go the extra mile for their patients. They are simply the best.

I love my dentist! I’ve been going to Dr. Patrick for more than 20 years now, and he is the most gentle and kind dentist I’ve ever had! If you ever have to have a filling or crown, you won’t even feel the shot of novocaine. He has a special technique that makes it perfectly painless. I also love that he doesn’t recommend things you don’t need. And, he takes time to talk with you–he is like a family friend. Dr. Patrick is the greatest dentist ever!

Dr. Patrick and his staff have been caring for me and my family for over 20 years!! I came to his practice while in college with a lot of anxiety over dental procedures. I would often wring my hands, take deep breaths, shake, etc. Dr. Patrick and his dental assistants have always been very caring, and understanding about my nervousness. They would cover me with blankets, play music in my ears, ask me how I was doing every few minutes, and I am glad to say that my anxiety has dissipated greatly! I can’t imagine going anywhere else, and if I left Athens, I’d just have to come back twice a year to see everyone, and have my teeth worked on! They are wonderful about patient reminders, and with an extremely busy schedule, I have to re-schedule quite a bit—no problem!! I love this place! Go here; you won’t regret it!

As soon as you walk in the door the staff is warm and welcoming! I am terrified of the dentist but everyone put me at ease! Dr.Patrick is so genuine, nice and very calming, he answered all my questions and concerns! I have to see and oral surgeon and the staff made sure I got in the same day! I have more issues with my teeth that need to be addressed and I WILL be going back to see Dr. Patrick for all of them! Also I will be telling all my family and friends about him and I don’t refer people usually but he was so amazing, I felt so comfortable there! Thank you guys so much!
