I originally found this place online because it was the only place open after I got off from work & I was pleasantly surprised! The entire staff is SO inviting & comforting. I brought in pics for 5 different things I could go for & the stylist met all my wants/needs & then some! Overall, I had a wonderful experience & I would recommend salon skanda to anyone & everyone I know. They specialize in curly hair & I’m going to bring my “mixed” daughter in ASAP. Also, the head scalp massage before the cut is an existential experience!

Mitchell, one of the owners, has been my stylist for 20+ years. I was unable to visit the salon for about 7 mo. On my return I was welcomed w/open arms not just as a client but as a friend. I have had long hair/short bob & in recent years a pixie. Mitchell is the ONLY one who knows how to make my hair look its best, including my color! Rachel & Stephanie, his assistants are wonderful. Everyone is very professional there. The price reflects the talent & the area.

I live 3 hours away and travel only to this salon to get my hair done by Luke Born! The staff is extremely talented, fun and entertaining, which provides for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I strongly recommend this salon.

I got my hair colored by the beautifully talented Heather Binder Dunbar! She did an awesome job and it was worth every penny! I can’t even tell you how many compliments I get on my hair color! She has a creative eye for hair and color! Def recommend her! She took my brown hair from drab to fab and have me exactly what I wanted!
