My 2010 Outlander would start just fine but as soon as I’d put it in reverse and try to back out in the morning, I’d have no power. I thought it was the battery so I bought a new battery, it didn’t help, I thought it was the power steering fluid, I bought some but it didn’t help, finally I said this is a job for Alex Auto so I left my car at the shop as I went out of town for a few days. I was afraid to ask what he found for fear of it being incredibly expensive but by some grace of God and his years of experience, he was able to figure out there was a recall on a part. He went out of his way to call Mitsubishi, make an appointment, bring my car over there, have them do the work on it and not only fix the problem but also found a way to warranty the parts that went wrong because of the recall. My 2010 Outlander runs like new and I guarantee no other auto shop would have gone the extra mile. I highly recommend them and always know they’ll be incredibly honest, fair and kind. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Keeps my BMW Running Great!! I have 444,274 Miles
Alex Auto has kept my BMW 740IL running extremely smooth over the years I have been going there. Most recently there a couple of weeks ago for a regular service. I have 444,274 miles on my BMW and I value the way they take care of it for me. This is one of 3 BMWs I have had over the past 28 years and Alex Auto is the best for maintaining them that I have seen. I highly recommend them! Best regards, Ron

I have used Alex Auto Inc. Many times now. I don’t even live near this shop but still drive an hour to get great service that I can trust. I always worry about how the shops will take care if my car. With Alex Auto I don’t have to worry. I know they take care of my car. No worries. They also have very reasonable prices and will actually show you what is wrong with your car, unlike most other shops. Overall great guys and service! A+

What can I say that others haven’t? Hm…how about we drive the same car: E39 M5’s. That’s how I found Alex: via his car and helpful advice on the M5Board both to me and other enthusiasts around the country. When I learned his shop wasn’t too far away (at the time the Buford location) I knew I had to pay him a visit.
As most everyone has said, it’s very hard to find a trustworthy, knowledgeable, and fair mechanic. Being this was my first BMW and moreover, my dream car, I was nervous about leaving it in a strangers possession given my past experience with other shops. Alex assured me my car would be fine and showed me his M5 and the meticulous car he showed it (and his other cars). And here we are, several years later and I’m still a loyal customer. My car goes in for the usual maintenance and comes back with no surprises. I’ve added my wife’s Chrysler Pacifica.
And let me not forget John! I’ve never had a moment where the two of them aren’t there being cheerful and energetic! Great team. Love those guys and will continue bringing them my business no matter where they move . Seriously, his new shop is so far outta the way for me, but I don’t care! Alex is that good and the service is worth it!

Best mechanic I’ve ever dealt with. Used take my M5 to Alex when he was at Jimmy Carter and Buford Hwy area. Still taking my cars to him now that he’s in Alpharetta. Honest and high-quality work. Doesn’t get any better!

I used Alex Auto because my check engine light was on due to a EVAP error. Talk about customer service… I spoke directly with Alex several times and he took the time to answer every question in detail and share his thoughts regarding the typical problems that cause this error code and the worst-case scenario problems. After diagnosing the issue, he called me immediately to see how I wanted to proceed. Also, his quote was within a few bucks of the final bill. He even coordinated with me to drop my car off after hours and have my wife pick it up the next day. Overall, this was a great experience and I will use them for any auto repair needs in the future.
Oh yea, he even called a few days later to make sure my check engine light was off and I wasn’t having any issues.

Working with Alex was great. He took the time to diagnose what my vehicle needed. He then let me know all things required to ensure the job was done right. We agreed on a fair price that beat all his competitors. He is an expert with BMW but is able to service all makes and models. I would definitely recommend Alex Auto.

Is there a six-star option? Darn… We have been servicing our cars exclusively at Alex Auto for almost 20 years. Well…with an exception of a few times at the dealer’s that we later regretted about. It is great to witness an excellence in car and customer service being passed across generations. This success story started by Alex Sr. proves that passion and meticulousness when executing a job and attention and care at treating customers will take you a long way and carry on when the youngster is deservingly handed the baton. It is also important to mention that the guys have had a great insight into picking mechanics talent matching their values. Keep it up!
